The end of the world is probably coming tonight. At 11:00pm Pacific time, the moon will fall rapidly off the horizon and into the sea, causing volcanoes to erupt everywhere. Everyone will panic, and drive their cars into craters formed around the world. People will scream and cry. I know this information because I had a dream last night about it. Today might be the last day of your existence. Or it may be tomorrow. It could be any day. Hopefully, it isn't today.
The other night, I received a package sent to my house from an unknown source, but it was shipped to the wrong address and I didn't feel like telling the delivery guy that it wasn't for me. I opened it anyway. Inside there was nothing. Just a bunch of bubble wrap. That's it.

You're the spitting image
Of a parking lot
You're the spitting image
And you're the best
Goddamn swimmer I've ever seen
And you found yourself
A nice place to live
You found yourself
A nice little town to haunt
Out on Black Creek Drive
Out on Black Creek Drive
Out on Black Creek Drive
Where I should've been born
You found a nice place to live
You found a nice town to haunt
Out on Black Creek Drive

We're about to go on a journey into the unknown,
We're about to take a trip,
Hey, let's go to school,
You and me, you and me,
Everybody wanna get together,
And think about how your mind has gone now,
Your mind has gone now.
Everyone you know is gone, to you.
You're just you, you're just you.
Don't believe for a second that you are sane.
You are not, I can assure you.
I can assure you, yeah. I can assure you.
You're not sane.
And the voices inside of your head told you so.
And it's gone away, away, and for too long.
And when I see you again, nothing's change at all.
Nothing's changed at all.

Two Roads
03:48
|
|||
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

I don't want to grow up
I don't want to become an adult
At least not on the outside
I don't want to get real depressed
I don't want to have to think about death
I don't want to take a bunch of pills
That take my mind off of something else
To try to get along in life
I just want to be who I am, and that is myself
I don't want to grow up
I don't want to worry if anybody loves me anymore
Everything becomes bad feelings galore
I don't want to get so stressed
And always have to make sure that my suits are pressed
I don't want to have to focus on my look
Everyone tells me watch a movie, read a book
But I don't have the time
I don't want to have to worry about the future
You may call me a loser, but I'm a chooser
And maybe one day I'll grow out of this
Maybe I'll grow up
It's about time, I've had enough
Time to take care of some stuff
I have to do something worthwhile before I fade away
Maybe when I find a penny on the ground it'll be a lucky penny

A Rainy Day
06:27
|
|||
Call me on the phone, you know that I'm home.
It's sort of a rainy day, but that's okay. It's very cozy, I say.
Why don't you come over to my house?
We can watch some TV like a mouse.
Underneath the covers, we can build a pillow fort right in my room.
Let's get lazy around the fireplace. Roll around on the floor and stargaze.
Lights dance around in our minds even though we know they're still.
We can do whatever we want to if we just will.
Put your arm around me and everything's nice.
As soon as you touch me, I close my eyes. Souls combined, we intertwined.
And I can tell that I'm feeling fine.
Last night, there was a man standing at my door.
He had an overcoat, as a matter of fact he looked very old.
He walked in my room and whispered a nice poem.
It went like:
The sun casts over fields of evergreen, it shines over damn near everything.
But if you look at the core, you'll find out once more.
That's the last thing that you'd ever seen.
